CMT does not seem to air many videos over the age of 3 years and so I was wondering if they air older videos, such as from the mid-90s or even the 80s. Also, I was wondering if they air a variety of videos, from artists popular and not as well known.

I watch GAC and CMT. Between the two, I think GAC shows more recent videos, but also has time frames when the older vids are shown. GAC is all music videos though, except for the times when paid programing is on. CMT, on the otherhand, shows more movies and older series. It recently had Broken Bridges with Toby Keith on and Pure Country with George Strait. It also airs The Dukes of Hazard daily. So if you want just videos and no shows, GAC is better. If you like more movies and series, CMT is better. either one it is hard to find vids from the 80's. As far as the newer, unknown performers, I believe I see more on GAC

From the times I have watched it GAC has a pretty good variety. I saw extremely old songs, probably from about the 80's along with the current songs. Most of these songs on GAC are from the older years with much variety.
