Convicts are great fish, and I know that they will be fine with Oscars, Make sure you get close to the same size as your Oscars are now. Watch them though, because if they start breeding (which they will in less than two weeks and they have about 20 to 50 babies at a time) they will get very aggressive and hurt the Oscars. It sounds crazy that they could hurt a fish twice their size, but they will. If you decide to get Convicts, you might want to get same sex. My dad bought 2 females and 2 males and now we have two different sets of babies. We now have 40 fish and have had to buy two more fish tanks. We have given lots away but they are steadily coming back. We have had them less than a year and they have had 4 different sets of babies a piece.

you are trying to put 3 very aggressive fish in one tank. jack dempseys are very bad with other fish, and oscars can be very mean if they are the biggest in the tank. you might want to do a lot of research before you make a move with these fish.

Yes.They will be fine. We have both in a tank together at home. Just watch out when your convicts have babies Oscars tend to eat the little ones.

yes they are , but you might have to keep an eye on the jack's just keep places for all of them to hide around , also remember to keep everyone around the same size, fish that are compatiable are yellow labs , brichardi's , ahli's , electric blues , green terors , but you have to keep in mind that these fish will get some size on them full grown so dont over load your tank
