Yes for sure. I usually don't EVER buy anything unless it has a picture. You can make anything sound good, but if it doesn't look good in the picture you will never sell it. Even if you just have the price and the picture it would sell better than a good description and no picture. Guarunteed.

i know i like to see pictures when i buy something on ebay and whenever i have tried to sell something, the ones that have had pictures always went quicker and the before the ones without.

Depends on the item- for clothing, toys or electronics, yes it makes a huge difference- people don't bid on something when they aren't sure it's what they want, or what the condition is.
For software packages or DVDs, not really- as long as the description is accurate.

It certainly does promote the sale of your item, let's the buyer see what your selling and has the option to enlarge to get a closer view.

Having a picture helps a lot more than not having one. People want to see what they're actually getting, not just a description.

yes, and a GOOD picture sells it faster and for more money
use good lighting, sunlight if you have it and a nice background, could be just a cloth or something
the best photos have a pretty nude subject (female) (young) (skinny) and a nice and interesting landscape background too
