Yeah...those stuff happens, sometimes it because the way of the programme saving the document is different from one computer to another, well there are many possibilities...i've expiriance similar things like that..to some cases, the programme can showup only not the whole proggrame there are alot of missing objects or links,
that has to do to with the database, are you using any database or just calling it from the computer? if you just calling that from the computer maybe that's where the problem is, well the path where your computer calls for a picture let's say...is different with your friend, but if you use database, i dont know microsoft access? maybe you should re-check where do you save the proggrames in your computer..
But you save it in floppy? Oh My God, you should consider to buy USB, floppy is a troubled device, maybe you should try that first, save the project using usb, copy that into drive D first (well any drives that you use to save proggrames usually), and then you try to run the proggrames...
but if you cannot open the proggrame at all and it's very urgent, and you got it all finished in your friend's computer this is as a last result... maybe you can consider to install the exact VB like the one in your friend's (with the database if theres any)...
well i hope that can help....good luck for you...and don't be panicked...panicking don't do you any help in anykind of proggraming, it makes it worse...

Thumbs up to b_plenge.
A tip to prevent this in the future: Don't copy your saved project to the floppy...with the project open click "Save Project as" and save it to the floppy. That way all the files are there and the file path, etc. is the A:// drive.

It was stored in a different location on your friends system, you can open the .vbp file in notpad and manually edit the drive references to where the files are on your computer, then save it and open it in VB. (Assuming both your floppy dirves are the A: drive this would indicate part of your project wasn't saved to the floppy)
Or you could start a new project, add in the forms, modules, class modules etc of your project, set the appropriate start up file and delete the "form1" the new project had in it that you won't need.

I afraid that you didnt save all the file from your friend computer. I think you copied all the folder which have the frm and frx files. But you may have saved one or two files in the default directory in the program files and while you tried to open in your home you get this error. Check all the file path of your saved file points to same folder.
