no you can't see mount sinai from Cairo, but you can see it from Egypt still, if you drive down the nile, towards hurghada or lower (can't remember), there are places i think where you can have the red sea plus view mount sinai or some of the mountains bordering the red sea..

No you can't. It's a 6-7 hour drive, meaning it's almost 650 km (from Cairo to Sinai). You can however go to Cairo Tower in Zamalek, where you can have an overview of Cairo and Giza, so you'll be able to see the clubs, fields, pyramids, pools in hotels.....

no i was up there 5 times and you can`t see cairo from the mountain top too
cairo in africa, sinai in asia cuz egypt is afroasian

You can't see it with the naked eye from Cairo. If you want to see it I would recommend you flying there because it is quite a ride in the dessert and you want to have the time when you get there. Don't forget to see the burning bush.
