Movies such as The Long Walk Home, Malcolm X, Unchained Memories, Cry Freedom, and many others make me feel angry. I become even more frustrated because there are several people who seem to have forgotten what others had to endure in order to get the type of freedom many have dreamed about. And at other times, it makes me feel good to know that there is still good in people of all races and that not all were a negative product of their prejudice environment.
There is good in people, in many cases, fear over-rules the good.

I find them disturbing.
After you've watched too many of them though, it gets annoying. You'd think we can move on from the 1960s.
(Simular with the hallocaust. I wish we could have killed the Nazi's before they killed all those innocent people, but endlessly dwelling on the event? I'm not sure that's healthy, especially since we've failed to prevent 100% of modern genocides:
1) Rwanda - we did nothing
2) Cambodia while not strictly genocide we did nothing
3) Sudan we are doing nothing
4) Bosnia? This is debatable but we did very little
5) Uganda? We did nothing
6) Somalia, we started to do something and then left it.
7) ...

it reminds of how we should be more understanding when we see unspeakable acts of inhumanity in other countries because we perpetrated so many here.
If we could see ourselves 50 years we would be disgusted with what we saw.........and its a part of who we are and what we are like it or not.
People forget that not only could horrible things happen here it has happened here, and we perpetrated it.
But we were allowed to make the social changes needed with out other countries invading and telling us to............not everybody has that luxury now........

Amazing all these posts that are made to make white people look bad.
The media controls what the people see.
Who ever is behind the media sure has some hatred towards white people!!!
