My granddaughter rec'd an Ipod shuffle for Christmas and no one can help her figure out how to download music. She apparently has an account set up because she said she has to be shown on her computer. If I could get the insructions, maybe I could walk her through it.

First you need to download iTunes - for free from Apple.com
Then, you can rip your own CDs to your Library. As soon as you put a CD into your PC, itunes will guide you.
(You can also transfer other MP3 files to the shuffle)
Finally, if you really want to pay Apple $$, go the iTunes store, buy songs and download them to your Library
You can transfer songs from your Library to your shuffle.
You can let iTunes pick songs or you can do it manually.
In any case, without iTunes, you can'tdo anything
