Can you guys tell me any top colleges in New York? Is Queens College Good? What about Baruch? And how about Stony Brooke?
NYU is that a college? Columbia? huh?

Columbia and NYU are prestigious private universities.
Baruch and Queens College are both part of CUNY (the City University of NY) -- making them non-prestigious public schools. Stony Brook is part of the SUNY system and is a reasonably good state university.
You should go to Princeton Review's web site. They have a tool where you enter informatin about your background and interests. It then suggests universities for you.

NYU and Columbia are elite school and have very stringent admissions policies.
Stony Brook is a commuter school for Long Island, but excellent academics.
Check out Fordham, The New School, Pace, Hofstra, Marist, City, Queens, Hunter, they are all pretty good.

Um, if you live there you should know something about the colleges. Get info from the schools, talk to your college counselor at school. Ultimately what it's going to come down to is which schools you can actually get into. Columbia is an Ivy League school so good luck with that one!

I live in Montana-I could give you information on some good Montana colleges? The Best thing for you to do is talk to some of the colleges call them up and chat usually the high schools have job fairs where the local colleges come and take to the students to give them ideas but if not look up the phone #'s and call.

Cortland University is great, My son went there and they helped him find a job after graduation. They send newspapers out to the alumni every 2 wks. with job oppoturnities. It is a good sized town but, not a city. Some kids I know that went there are my son, an athletic director, a forensic lab tech. teachers,doctors asst. Business students in everys sense of the word. They were and are happy with Cortland.
