would you rather work a job you hated but paid well, or worked a job that was truly your passion and what you dreamed of doing since you were 11, but didn't pay much at all? I want to be a author.....well i guess you guys can guess my predicament.

I would go with the job that pays less but that involves your passion.

I'm an actor, but I have a day job to pay the bills. I am lucky that I work for a great company, with wonderful people. And this is the year that I actually have a shot at making my day job more acting oriented. I will the meld the two by becoming a trainer at my day job.

Find a job that will allow you to write, lots of those. And hold to your dream to be a writer.

If you get into the arts [acting, music, art, writing] to get wealthy it will a long shot. If you work hard at your passion while working someplace that supports your dreams you will be rich in more ways than how big your bank account/

Firstly I don't like the concept of "job" and having to work for someone else to get paid for, no matter I like the work or not. But I don't have a choice, do I? I guess that's just a reality and we'll have to live with it for the rest of our lives. Whenever you do something as a job, I think it's hard to truly enjoy it because job is not only doing the work but it also involves other things such as stress, office politics, etc. And whenever there is money involved, your employer will always be a pain in the neck. So it's really hard to say whether I should work for money or for passion. Whenever money is involved, it wrecks your passion.

We never have money, but we always have everything we need though its tight at times. It would be nice to have more money but if it was a choice of happiness or money I would deffinately choose happiness. I guess we'll soon find out. My hubby just got this really great job that pays more than we've ever seen before. All the bills will be able to be paid on time without problem. We will by bo means be rich, but it is about time we get ahead. Not that I mind my life at all we are very happy with 2 wonderful children. But we have sacrifised so much to make sure they have all they need.

Look for something in between. Those things do exist. Or do half and half and not make so much money. You don't need to have lots of things if you are creative and self-assured.
