If you have not already won, you can enter the amount "0.00" and then bid it, and it will act as if you never bid. Or, you can contact the seller through the email which is located on the right hand side of the page, "Contact seller/with a question"

You can cancel bids at http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?RetractBidShow. Ebay states:
"It is ONLY OK to retract a bid if...,

* You accidentally enter a wrong bid amount (for example, you bid $99.50 instead of $9.95). If this occurs, re-enter the correct bid amount immediately.
* The description of an item you have bid on has changed significantly.
* You cannot reach the seller. This means that you have tried calling the seller and the seller's phone number doesn't work, or you have tried emailing the seller and it comes back undeliverable."

However, it is better to write the seller and ask them to cancel the bid for you. If you retract your bid it will show up on the page where your feedback history is. Some sellers might block you from bidding if you have a high number of retractions, and in certain cases, eBay will suspend your account.

Personally, as a seller, I would rather cancel a person's bid than to have to deal with a NPB (non paying bidder) or other problems after the sale.

Nope. I did the same thing for a Wii. You probably have to call the ebay office to withdraw the bid or something like that. Good luck
