You need to call your doctor. I delivered my daughter 2 1/2 months early. My water broke (slow leak) and I didn't even know it. I had "period cramps" for five days before I finally decided I needed to go to the doctor. I didn't really think much of it, it was my first pregnancy and I honestly just thought it was part of being pregnant. Call your doctor---

I went into labor without even knowing it. I had a schduled induction because I was a week over due and had been showing no signs of oncoming labor at my last doctor's appointment. I went in for my induction and when they hooked me up to the montior I was already having contractions!
Yours sounds like it could be. Lay down somewhere (preferably a floor, if you can get there lol) and see if when you lay down you feel like you're 'peeing' or have to go more. That could be a sign your water broke. I would just give the doctor a call anyway, because it really is better safe then sorry when it comes to something so precious.

well i didnt know i was in labor until my contractions got painful and when i got to the hospital i was dialated at 6 an hr later i had my daughter. all i felt was i thaught the baby was balling up and my belly got hard but i didnt know cause every one told me contractions hurt like hell and i felt pressure in my lower back but other than that i didnt feel any pain or anything untill i was dialated good. but if your not sure you can always call your dr or the hospital and ask for the ob department and ask a nurse there if you should come in or not.

my contractions were less than 5 minutes apart and i did not realize what in the heck was going on. I stood up and my water broke...but it wasn't like I imagined or had ever heard of...it was just a tiny bit of fluid and that was it, not any type of mess...so after i went to the br I went back to bed and once the contractions were 5 minutes the pain began to hit I knew it was time

Doesn't sound like labor, maybe just the baby dropping down more. The key is to time everything. If you are going into labor, the feelings will get closer and closer together. If not, then it is not labor.

i have had 2 labours & to begin with it was just like period cramps, if you are concerned please go to your doctor or to the hospital - it is always best to get checked out , especially if you have had preterm labour stopped. dont waste time on the computer go now!

That's not labor; that just the baby's head pressing on the bladder. When you go into labor, you will know it!
