As a child, I remember watching a film or TV show episode involving two young lovers. A girl lives in a house and meets a boy who doesn't live in the house. He visits with her and they fall in love. She cannot walk outside the yard of her house and then she decides she wants to leave and be with the boy, but when she walks outside the yard she disappears. It was black & white. Does ***anyone*** recognize this plot and know what it is?

Is it possibly The Secret Garden? I remember something similar to what you are describing from a long time ago when I was young and it was in black and white... the boy and the girl were young.
