They are the same. I have never been able to find one online or in a store but I got the ones I have from my provider (Earthlink) and that is a good option. If you are trying to use a line without a provider it wont work, The phone company is involved, they have to activate the lines just like your phone. Also you can try EBay you can find them there.

it depends on what kind of DSL u are subscribing to.. as for your modem, ask ur technician about it
