Grab the yellow pages or dial 411 and get your local listings under abortion.
I'm not exactly sure how far along until they will no longer do it. In my state there are no partial birth or third trimester abortions. I think it's state law. There's one state that doesn't allow abortion at all.
It's something you should definantly look into.
And pay no mind to the negetive comments this question may open you up for because the question had nothing to do with the moral ethics of people that aren't you.
Planned Parenthood is a good place to start.

You should never have an abortion. A embryo or fetus, is a child, a baby! They have organs developing such as a heart, sooner than 6 weeks! An abortion should be out of the question.

I say you should not ever abort a baby.If your friend is serious about doing this you should take her a clinic not an abortion clinic as they call themselves a family clinic.Have her talk to someone that will tell her the dangers of having an abortion. An abortion clinic will not do this as they just want the money.

There are some ppl out there who have complications with pregnancy so much that it is life threatening to both child and mother. Some ppl just arent ready to have kids, and speaking for myself, I've only been a woman for 2 an half years, but I'm 18. I don't think my body is capable of handling pregnancy cuz first off, my body is not mature enough to handle it, I've always been underweight. Its important to use contraception if you aren't planning to hav kids, but sometimes accidents happen, you know? Have sympathy for those ppl, they make mistakes, they're only human. I think abortion should be available for ppl who need it badly but it shouldn't be a reason for not using contraception.

You asked a simple question, and I'm not sure why no one is answering what you asked.
The best window for a surgical abortion is between 7 and 12 weeks. In many states, it's legal until week 14, or the end of the first trimester, but if you're not sure of your timing, better to get in earlier.

Anywhere from one to three months. I do agree with you abortion is wrong in most cases, but I also have friends that decided to do it. What is meant to be, will be. You can try to make her re-think this but it is probably no use. Just make sure you are there for her throughout this process, My friend had an abortion and called me for three months in the middle of the night, crying because she regretted it.

You can have a legal abortion up until 3 months. However, there are so many women out there who would love to have a child and can't, including me. If your friend is interested in working out an adoption with someone, please have her contact me.

Tell your friend to go see her doctor. She'll get a referral to the right clinic. 12 weeks is the limit but I have no idea as to what the different states laws on abortion are.

I think around 7 wks, but maybe earlier now that they have the pill. Most states you can't have one after your first trimester. Good for you, standing up for your friend's personal choice. Don't let preaching people on here cloud your judgement of your friend, it's her right.
