Opinions about California State University, Channel Islands?

I just recently read an article on CSU Channel Islands in the newspaper. I wanted other people's opinions about it. What do you think of its academics, campus, students, etc. ? I know that is a fairly new school, so I'm not sure how much info anyone's going to be able to give me.

None of the CSU schools are particularly selective. If you can get into one of the UC schools -- go there insted.
