every day? the two are more than half a century apart.
but..as far as i know, i think i agree with what you're trying to say. the united states makes a lot of enemies because it allies with certain countries like israel...making many countries who hate america's allies hate america itself.
whether america helping its allies is a good or bad thing is another story...

Pearl Harbor and 9/11 everday when they occured twice in a century? Pearl Harbor had little to do with our influence on the world since we were largely considered an isolationist country. 9/11 had a lot to do with our influence in that part of the world but I don't think the influence is completely to blame. What is to blame is how we used that influence after WWII and during the Cold War.

To be able to work with other countries in a feasible manner, the United States has had to maintain an influence in the world. Perhaps we go further than other countries would do in assisting a country in need, support, battles etc.
Hopefully someday we can be looked upon on a higher level of respect, than we do now. The United States when it gives of itself, it does it 100%... Perhaps those who continue to curse us today, will see this in time.

It is the arrogance of the leaders of the US that create the problems you speak of. Basically the American view of the world is ; it is our way or the highway.....you better do what we want or there will be trouble. Leading the world because they can destroy it is not the way to win friends and influence people.

Your reasons are not true but your question might be. Whenever there is a need in the world, the Americans are there to help. My point is who the hell ever comes to aid us????
