I would prefer the dinner at home. But here's the perfect compromise: a nice, fancy candle lit dinner at a posh restaurant, followed by an exquisite, exotic dessert at home, followed by an even more exquisite, exotic, erotic dessert of each other in front of the fireplace.

Well for me it's a fancy dinner at a restaurant and why cause it would be just the two of us without 2 year old son. Two year olds do not sit quietly when you go out for dinner. I stress too much when i cook because i'm such a perfectionist. Better to pay someone else to do it so i can enjoy the meal and the company.

I like to get dressed up for my man but I much prefer a candlelight dinner at home and a movie. It is more private that way and if you want to kiss you don't have to keep it "decent" since you are not in public and then if it leads to something else you also don't have to worry as you would if you were in a restaurant. I like to cook for him instead of having someone else do it. I think he appreciates it a lot more and he feels more loved because he knows that I cared enough to go to the trouble for the romance.

I like a nice fancy dinner every now and again, but I really like the quiet home dinner! Especially dessert! lol

I think at home would be nice because you can be more relaxed and if you have a little to much wine then you don't have to worry about driving and if you get in the mood you are already there. and still have a couple of hundred $ in your pocket for your next romantic round

A home cooked dinner eaten together in the privacy of your own home, with dimmed lights, candle light, and sweet slow music. And anyway, at home, date night can always lead to something much more. =)
