so i walk by one mirror and my legs look big and fat, and i walk by another and it looks like a i have anorexic stick legs.

yeah, it's true. there sre some mirrors that can bend and distort light, so your reflected image doesn't look like you at all. some stores may even buy these mirrors on purpose, so they can sell you something. ex, i saw a colgate display where you look in the mirror and your teeth look all yellow, then you look in the other mirror and your teeth look white; it's supoosed to be what your teeth look like after you use the whitening stuff

Yes, I feel the same exact way as you. That is why I go shopping, it`s so depressing to stare in the mirror *TEAR* ! I agree with the previous answerer. It`s because the light blending is different, it distorts the image and how you see yourself. It also flips your image, i.e. if your bangs are on the right side, you`ll see it on the left side in the mirror. Sucks, doesn`t it ?

yea it is true...have u ever tried on a pair of pants at the mall and looked in the mirror and they look so nice on you but when you got home they didnt look so good on you? its because at the mall they have the mirror slanted a certain way to make ur figure look slim and so on but yes its true...it even came on the news about that

yeah, because in real life your image is of course 3-dimensional plus some mirrors vary w/2 dim. image 4 some reason or another

I think so! I've been to a store with such harsh lighting that I walked out, I looked terrible. I wonder if it's to get you to buy buy buy, but I just ran away and never went back.
