I think there are 12 of them? I have read 'The Book of Lost Tales', part 1 and part 2, and own two of the others, but have never read them (I plan to someday!).

*Broadly smiles* I have read them all.
I was the Tolkien expert in my Sci-Fi/Fantasy class because of it too.

I'm working on it. Some are really hard to find. You pretty much have to order 7-12 online, especially 10-12. I finally found them and I'm just waiting for the time and the money to read and acquire them. So far I've read the first 5 and the Unfinished Tales as well as the Silmarillion (the best book EVER). I can’t wait to read books 10 and 12. I’ve hear 10 tell about elven customs and that 12 contains the Shilobeth (sp?) of Feanor. That’s where we find out that only three of Feanor’s sons got married and that Maedhros actually has red hair and his brothers call him Russandol (copper top). Lol It’ll be nice not to have to search the internet for info. Good luck on your reading! At least I now know that I’m not the only Tolkien-obsessed psycho out there 

I haven't yet had the time to look for them, but the entire set is on my "To Read" list. Unfortunately, I've got 17 other books to read.

I have 6 of them, sheesh, I didn't know there were 12 of them. I guess I didn't read all of them after all.
