I just recently bought a Sony Vaio, and it started out with a feature that in order to open a file or program, you only have to click once. I don't want this on. I already went through the "mouse" part of "control panel" and could not figure out how to turn this feature off. Can someone please help me with this?

Go into "Control Panel" and click on the "Folder Options" and look under the "General" tab.
(It should be the last option listed here).

It would be convenient if it was located in the mouse section of the control panel, wouldn't it?
It is located in the Folder Options section within the control panel. You will see it right on the first menu. Simply select that you prefer to double-click!!!
Phew.... Relief!!
