Taking a freshman class just to satisfy my credit requirement. I don't even like the class but I have to take it. It doesn't even matter what grade I get as long as I pass. Because ALL my classmates are freshmen, the instructors act all uppity and breath your back like high school teachers, which I resent. I got used to the freedom of upper year classes. What should I do?

If attendance isn't part of your grade, disappear, except for tests? Or if you feel you can relate to the teacher, see if you can change your role in the class?

I don't advocate missing college classes, though. I did a few, but for the most part I suffered through the really ugly ones.

Tough it out until you get to the 'freedom' of upper year classes. That's just life!
