well, no pets means just that and you are likely to get booted out
if you get one. Try finding a hobby or better yet offer your services at a local shelter or a hospital

A small breed of rabbit, like the Netherland Dwarf. They're cute, cuddly and can belitter-trained like a cat or dog. They will be good pets.

a bird would be a great pet but they make noise and therefor call attention to yourself. try something smaller like a gerbil, hamster, bunny, that sort. something that can be hidden in case you need something fixed in your apartment, and the cage can then be put in the closet for a bit and the landlord will be none the wiser. plus they don't make much noise and are fairly easy to clean up after.

I wouldn't cross that line if he says no. But you can get those new fish tanks. You hang them on the wall. They look like the real thing. I believe they are only about $60.00. Chekc with the pet stores around they may be able to help you out on that.

Not a bird, they make noise and someone might here and get mad.
when i lived in a "No Pets" apt, i found that a small rodent, such as a hamster, mouce or rat are good pets.
If you dont want a rodent then a small reptile would be good!
Good Luck!

Try a ferret, keep it in its cage and just let it out to play. They don't make noise and if its found out you can always say you are watching a friends. I did this but let them loose and they ripped up some carpet. I had to do some fast talking but didn't have to pay for that mess either.

Don't be ridiculous. You don't want to lose your security deposit if he finds out. Get a plant. If you can keep that alive until you move again, then you can get a real live creature to "take care of."

a gold fish bowl..... with one fish.... just don't over feed him. .and be sure to walk him at least twice a day.......but since you can't even have a fish... due to the landlord rules...

have you thought about getting a really nice potted plant...?????you could give it a really cool name,, like spike.. or rover.....
