All freedoms in society involve considering other people's freedoms.

You might ask why you are not free to beat your neighbor with a stick. This is because that means that he would not be free to not be beaten.

In any group and society with people living together, you have to have laws. These laws constrain freedoms in order to preserve liberties.

A law against stealing means you are not free to steal. But we agree to limit ourselves in that way in order to live together.

Your example is the same. Your country has a law against certain kinds of entertainment. Some people want to be free to live in a place that doesn't have that kind of entertainment. They feel its availability affects the community.

In a free society there has to be compromises in indiviual freedom so that we can have communtiy freedom. In a "free" country you have the right to try to get the community laws changed to allow the type of entertainments you want and others are free to lobby otherwise. That is true freedom.

Letting people do anything they want without consequence of law in not freedom, it is anarchy, and with anarchy, very few liberties or freedoms get preserved.
