Caucasian is not going to be the majority forever. If whites only elect whites, what'd be the expected result when caucasian is a minority? Wouldn't it be good to elect a minority ASAP, if there's a good choice, rather than wait 'til it's inevitable?

Isn't it likely whites could keep good standing in society by not clinging to power?

If you believe in Barack Obama, wouldn't it be better to elect him in '08 than to wait 'til he gets more experience? What experience does he need? Experience in the corrosive culture of Washington?

How did that experience help John Kerry as a candidate? Regardless of how you felt about Kerry, wasn't he more charismatic, more convincing in his beliefs about how to change D.C., before spending decades getting accustomed to the practices he wanted to change? Ever seen Kerry's speech on the Senate floor about $100 pens?

How does the '80s Kerry compare with the '04 Kerry? Better or worse? Any reason it would be different with Obama?

No, it would be best to do it when the right person puts him/herself forward. I don't know much about Obama, but I'm watching.

Only a complete idiot would vote for someone based totally on their race! It is what a person believes in and their integrity that make the person a worthy candidate or not. AND if they have what it takes to get the job done!

And Kerry was a looser then and still is now. He is a traitor to his fellow soldiers, and an opportunist. He has not the integrity or guts to get the job done. In my humble opinion that is, based on the facts as I know them. Mr. Bush may not be the brightest bulb on the tree, but he sure as hell is honest. I would trust him with my life, but I would not trust Kerry or Obama. As I do not know enough about Obama yet. And neither do you!

I don't see what skin color or sex or political party or gay or straight or religion (etcetera) has to do with anything!

Shouldn't we be voting for the best qualified person? Dispite any of the above?

JFK (IMHO), was one of the best Presidents we have ever had, and I am not a Democrat. He was also the youngest president to have held office. Hmm, maybe age really does not matter!

Can't compare candidates like Kerry and Obama. Different people, different objectives!

The President has restricted ability and ability to result coverage which will be considered fascist. the in user-friendly words way a fascist collaboration; agency/company and authorities might want to be with the help of social coverage as enforced by technique of the State. the outcome of a valuable transition might want to be extreme economic stress on a formally Capitalist gadget--therefore necessitating the authorities to prop up the economy to finish the commercial transition to socialism. the yankee aspects might want to not in any respect knew what befell--that is a gentle global transition and any conspiracy theories might want to be written off. those who were attentive to it, might want to be deemed mentally ill with the help of fabricated medical opinion. that is a valuable transition.

I hope that race does not enter into the next Presidential contest. There are real issues that should be addressed, such as: if we leave Iraq, and Taliban/al Qaeda set up a base there, what do we do about it?
