With a month of practice and working out, I bet I could be hitting 40+ yarders.

If you think that it is so easy then why don't you go to a pro team and (if they can keep themselves from laughing in your face long enough) get a tryout.

It is pretty damn hard, I've tried it.

If half of the guys out there were half as good as they thought they were, at half of the things they say they could do better at half of the sports that they watch, half of the time, then there would be twice as many teams, with twice as many players, playing twice as many positions, twice as good, as every player playing every sport that there is.

Hey, Aussie, if it is so easy to kick our feeble little ball then why don't I see 50 Aussie footballers kicking 80+ yarders in the NFL every (any) day.
They could make a hell of a lot more $$$$$ doing it in the US than they could in Australia.

BTW I LOVE Australia, and hope to go (retire) there someday.

Perhaps, on a nice day, with just the holder on the field, but with 11 200 pounders heading for you as the ball is snapped it might make things a bit more interesting.

australian footballers kick 60yrds each and every week with pinpoint accuracy to a team member.
of the 18 in the team on the ground ,ALL of them could kick at least 60m and thats with a ball much bigger than the tiny one used in the us.
i have seen some kick 80m.
check out ben graham ex aus now playing in us.
he can do 80m each and every time.

Yeah, good luck. I think it looks crazy hard! Adam V. of the Colts makes it look easy, but go try it. There is a reason those guys get millions. Not many can do it that well.

Oh Lordie, another Morton Anderson and Matt Bahr in our midst. Why don't you try out for whoever your hometeam is and let us know how it goes.
