first thing Im sorry your g/f was put through something that vile but for you to say you'll raise the baby as your own makes me feel like there are some real men left in the world.... I dont see anything wrong with you raising the baby as your own but you have to decide before hand that you'll never look at that baby & blame him/her for anything that might come up about the rape... the baby is a victim also... I wish you two the best good luck

First, for you to ask that question shows that you are a great person. There is absolutely nothing wrong if you were to raise the child as if it were your own. You would be giving God the glory by showing such love. Everything happens for a reason, and if she is pregnant then it is a blessing, even more so if you are there for her! Good luck and God bless you both!

Absolutly not. If you are even considering this that tells me that you deserve to be a father to this child. There are people everyday that raise other peoples children, and I know it is a different sittuation, but it would still fall in the same area I think. This child would be honored to have you as the father..

i think that there should not be anything wrong with you as raising the child, babies are alot of work so its up to you if you want to rase the babie or not but your girlfriend is probliby going through a hard time right now so its your call. good luck! it also is a way of making something bad into something good!!!!!!

No it would be a wonderful thing for you to do, however consider your gf's feelings. It might would be very hard for her to see it all the time it would remind her of what happened to her. most women who carry a child to term after rape place it for adoption.

Not as long as you both are ready for that responsiblity and you both want the baby. I think it is extremely noble of you to want to step in and be the baby's parent. However, is the mom going to be able to look at the baby without resentment? I think counceling for this issue would be wise b4 the pregnancy gets too far along

There's nothing wrong with that at all. And that would make you a better man then many. If you feel you could do that and would be willing to help her, then God bless you, that's a very admirable thing to do.

That would be very BIG of you to take care of a baby that is not yours.Remember a father is not someone that makes a baby, but raises it, gives it love, attention and takes care of its every need!

my 1st son isnt my boyfriends but he has been there since the day he was born and he is his daddy, theres no buts about that. when you see the baby the love you fill is stronger than any doubt you my have. that baby will look up to you for love, compason, and the best part is that you will be that hero.,
