i read a lot about doctors and stuff so i know the drill of going to college taking basic science, then med school and internships and stuff. and as for tuition and financial help i have a lot of family support that i know of. so anything besides the things i mentioned before, you would be helping me out a lot. sorry if i sound desperate but to me being a doctor is the only thing that makes sense to me in the world...

well I'm a little confused at what question you are asking but I'm in my first year of college. i want to be a doctor just like you...actually a Doctor of Internal Medicine. I'm currently majoring in Biology. It takes a lot of schooling. I'll just say that now. This is the education that is required for an Internist...but its similar to any other Doctor career.
You have to complete a bachelor’s degree and if it is associated with a Liberal Arts degree, you must have had a taste in Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. Then you go on to medical school where you must obviously graduate. You have to complete an internship and pass your state licensing exams. After doing so, you must go on to complete a three year residency program where you are active in a hospital. During this time you will experience just about all fields of medicine. Then you must pass extra exams to become board certified. In the end, you will have the opportunity to progress in the career whether you choose to be a head of a department or venture off to form your own practice. Both of which does require extra education and years of experience.
i hope some of this helped. also i have a suggestion. PA or Physician Assistant kinda does the same thing as a doctor except you dont have to deal with the insurance or the responsibility. plus after a Bachelors degree....its just 2 years of training and you work with other doctors. look into it.
Best of luck to you girl. oh and PA's make a great deal of money too. lol pursue your goals. dont let the countless years of schooling scare you from doing what you want and feel that you need to do.

In case of money then go look for financial aids. If you are losing hope because they won't accept you into that university then you must not give up. You should go apply to other Schools of Medicine. Do not forget that you need to get at least a 3.2 GPA to get into a School of Medicine. Make some research or ask your premed mentor if you had one. If you don't then look for one. That mentor can be a professional (doctor).
If you are losing hope because you failed the medical school admission test then retake it. There is nothing to worry about this. But make sure to study hard in order to get a good score this time.
If you need more help then you might want to check this site:

I hope that this helped you. Never give up on anything. You can do it! :D I hope that you could help many people in the future.

To become a doctor, you have to go to medical school, to become a medical assistant, medical biller, radiologist, x-ray technician you can go to a technical school in your local town, and sometimes they even have the courses at a community college....don't lose hope, you sound young and you still can have a career that is rewarding. Look up the schools and apply for financial assistance if you need it, the school will help you do that. Good Luck.

Usually, job shadowing is a good idea for someone with the types of questions that you have. However, you can't do that with any type of job that involves confidentiality, as your mere presence make a sham of that concept. That's nothing personal.
Instead, the next time that you see your doctor, ask if you can make an appointment to see him/her to ask what it means to them to be a doctor, the pros and cons of being a doctor, etc. That's the closest that you will be able to get to job shadowing in this case. And everyone likes to be asked about themselves, and most people truly appreciate the idea that they might be a mentor to someone else.

To become a doctor:You have to be really good at science and math. You need four years of college, four years of med school, and at least 3 years of residency training to become a doctor. You also need to have great grades. All that hard work rewards you with saving lifes and a great salary.
