well i had a quinceanera last year in december. i invite my friends cuz i wanted to see them there. also cuz they said they wanted to come. only 3 friends came. aughhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! i was very disappointed. i live in south central L.A. one of my friends came all away from culver city to the party, my other friend came from koreatown to the party too. my other friend lives nearly by and she came also. i invite like 20 ppl to the party and they live faraway from the party. my friends that came live far away and did everything to come here. what friends that i have and it was my special day! at school, they forgot, it hurts me that only 3 came and the rest didn't want to. they were make some lame excuse. im very disappointed in them. are they friends or foes!

When I was in sixth grade I won a free party at a local Skateland. I invited everyone in my class thinking that we were all friends and they would like me more if I had a party. Not one person came. I cried so hard and felt so low about myself. When I went to school the following day, I couldn't look anyone in the eye. I wanted to crawl into a hole! But I've gotten over it and them. I started to hang out with other kids my age that didn't go to my school. I think those who didn't show up to your birthday party are inconsiderate and just plain rude. You know, don't let them know that they hurt you. Just move on.

The big Q is a bore for others because so much is made about a girl turning 15 when that is the worst year of any teens life. It is sickening for them to know that it is all so phony and the dresses are so godawful ugly that they do not want to spend a couple of hundred just to make you think you are a woman when, in fact, you are a girl who thinks she is a woman. It is very unfair, this cultural practice, because it pushes young girls into a whole new arena, if you know what I mean. Eighteen is an appropriate year because a girl would have to actually graduate to be given special attention. At fifteen many girls are just starting to get into gangs and banging their lives away. Hey, it's the way I see it.

Girl, theyre foes. Look Imma be real, I had to learn the hard way about people and it looks like u did too. I did everything for my friends, I was all about them, and got screwed over by a lot of them. But 3 girl thats good! Be happy that u even have 3. And its not even just about having the most friends or a lot of friends. Its about having REAL friends. You never know whos gonna stab u in the back and make up lies about u or spread rumors. U cant trust too many people. but those 3 people. stay true to them, and show them how appreciative u are. And those people who came up with lame excuses couldve at LEAST called. Thats what u call fake honey. And ull meet even more fake people. I have a lot of acquantainces (sp) but i have 4 friends I can trust with ANYTHING and I couldnt be happier!!! Good luck!

I would be pissed too! I wouldn't believe that they ALL had to do something on that day. But the question is did they say they were coming, and just didn't show up? I would suggest you get some new friends but keep them too.

I'm sorry that your friends disappointed you. As you age you will learn that there is a difference between friends and acquaintances. Friends will go out of their way to be somewhere important to you; acquaintances will come only if it is convenient for them to do so.

one general rule in life: No one of us can please everybody. so be the person u want to be and whoever wants to be ur friend, u keep them for life, those who dont even bother, let them go.. bec that is the normal cycle of life. nothing to be sad about, its just normal.
lets put it in simple terms. If a man wants to be loved by all women in his environment, he wouldnt end up being married to either one, right? so who sufferes? the man himself.. bec, again, as a general rule, no one person can please everybody all the time. remember that and u will life stress-free.
just be a nice person to everyone.. bec we dont want some hurting of ego here.. but accept it when not all people u can please.. just the same as u r not please with all people u meet.
