plant cells have a cell wall. animal cells don't have one at all. plant cells have larger vacuoles than animal cells to support stems, leaves, and flowers. plant cells have chloroplasts and animals cells have mitochondria for energy.
plant cells and animal cells have cell membranes, nucleus, nucleolus, ribosomes, golgi apparatus, smooth and rough endoplasmic reticulum.
