I have an ipod mini that needs to have the battery replaced and I wanted to know if anyone has ever sent theirs in to apple. Can it be taken to the apple store or does it need to be mailed like it says on the website? Also, how long did it take and how much did they charge? Any thing else I should know before I send it? Thanks so much!

Haven't sent one in yet, but since the mini is starting to get dated going to try a battery off ebay...they send you the tools and is about 1/5 the cost. since no warranty anymore. cant hurt. Otherwise would rather put the money towards a nano.
