I am not a heath inspector, but in time the dry wall staying wet could cause mold and therefor can cause many health problems but indeed dry to figure out what is causing the wall to get wet and stop the wetness,

Depends on how wet and where it is. If it's hanging over you it could fall and it is heavy especially if it's really wet. Also, it can produce mold which is bad for us to breathe. so, it can be dangerous, yes.

If you mean wet from dampness - yes. Mold will quickly start growing. And some of it can hurt your lungs.
