So here we are, for those of you who talked to me friday night, I want everyone to know I went in for my ultrasound today. My bleeding has subsided, however the cramping remains (but I have had cramping throughout my pregnancy.)

The doctor told me I have a Sub Chronic Bleed, but it has scabed over. They put me on bedrest for 4 weeks, then I'll go back for another ultrasound. The baby appears otherwise healthy and growing on schedual. We heard the heartbeat going at a smooth 160 bpm.

So here's my question, although the doctors say my chances of going on with a perfectly healthy, normal pregnancy and baby. But I'm still unsure.

Has anyone else heard of this? Or had this and still had a healthy baby?

Please let me know!

At 13 weeks pregnant with my son I had a Sud Chronic Bleed too..It scared the crap out of me..I was put on bed rest for 2/12 months and in July 06 I gave birth to a healthy baby boy who weighed 8 pds. 3 oz.!!! So yes your olds of having a healthy baby are good!! Just do as your doctor says..And rest!!! Stay off your feet and relax and I know it`s hard but try not to worry!! Good Luck!!

I had bleeding when I was about 3 months along. It was bright red and then went to brown spotting and continued for a month! They did an ultrasound and said that I had an extra "membrane" in my uterus. They guessed that I was pregnant w/ twins and miscarried one of them; also called vanishing twin syndrome. Not sure if this is the same thing you had, but I'm now 22 weeks, havn't had any bleeding for over a month and they took me off bed rest. I go in for another ultrasound on the 31st to find out the sex. The baby is moving around, so I know he's okay. I think you should have a healthy baby, just make sure you follow doctor's orders, and I have my fingers crossed for you too!
