I am up to episode 102. I have a bad sense of fillers so I what I ask of you are the filler episode numbers.
Also...would it be ok to simply skip the fillers and go straight to the original story?

The fillers start AFTER episode 135.
episode 136 onwards are fillers
no. They're not worth watching (got very bored after a while), they don't carry any meaning or character development like the normal storyline.
The NEXT season of Naruto which is not filler (goes back to the manga storyline) will be aired on
February 15th 2007, which is this year.

naruto ends on 15th February 2007 which has been confirmed by the creator kishimoto himself in shounen jump magazine. You can watch the fillers while waiting for the true plot to come back on 15 Feb 07, some of the fillers are really interesting and funny. Besides, the fillers also show other characters of naruto like neji, hinata, ten-ten, rock lee, kiba, shino, shika, choji and ino because they didnt get much show in the true plot so the fillers will tell more about them.

All right it's about time they started showing the 2nd part.
the fillers where getting a little annoying.
Okay, so yeah, if you want to skip the fillers it's going to be from 130 all way to around 220.
actually this new episode 217 is interesting, the sand shinobi are back only this time it's the konoha helping them out.

You haven't really hit the fillers yet. I think they start around 130 and go through the end of Part 1. Trouble is, some of them are worth watching. I've quit at 165 for now, but I may as well try to finish.... eventually.
