LOL! It IS an ordeal, I'll admit, but I found that if you have 2 people, it makes it LOTS easier. If you pop the pill in the cat's mouth and push it's mouth closed and then blow gently in it's nose, it'll swallow the pill right down. Works like a charm.

I had 2 cats that I used to give vitamins daily. They laid on their back and swallowed it.

I couldn't do it! the vet made it look so easy but I couldn't get my hand anywhere near my cat's mouth without getting bit.

Ohhhh, yes. My old boy...I have to wrap him in a towel and go "POOF" in his face to make him swallow. And then sometimes he beats me. It's worth paying the vet to do it - they have a tool to do it with!

Pill poppers pop them right down their throats, not too bad a problem.
