It looks like it from this person's stand point. But luckily we have a Senate and a House to keep him somewhat in line. If he continues in the same path we could see the first President removed from office, not on his own choice.

I think he would be very happy if he started Armageddon. Or if he could be the Beast.

I once thought so.

Now, I think he is less trying to start Armageddon, and more trying to uphold his "lone cowboy" image. This was especially brought home to me by his statement that he would keep going with the war in Iraq even if it was only Laura and his dog supporting him. His language all along, "Smoke him out..." etc suggests that he holds this image almost delusionally.

As a Messianic, fundamentalist born-again Christian he virtually sees it as his duty to fulfill the prophecy.
