i want to work somewhere where i can work for about 6hrs and only oneday a week, but i dont want to be a waitress and i want a job that will pay alot.....my dad says the best place would be at a carwash, he thinks ill get about $100 for one day? how much do u think ill get working 6hrs a day at a car wash? or is there some place better?

If you have a skill that is marketable, you can make a lot of money teaching. I taught the baby dance classes at a dance studio at age 16 and made very good money. Teaching swim lessons, piano or another instrument, or tutoring academic subjects also pays well.

Honestly, not many places are going to hire you for one day a week. It doesn't give them any flexibility, and there are plenty of people looking for jobs who will give more hours. Try getting an after school job for 3 days a week or around 15 hours. I worked abut 20 hours a week while playing 2 sports, heading 3 clubs, coaching a team, and mantaining a 4.0 GPA in high school. It can be done.
