Yes, it is a big deal for the African American population to see something positive and not always the negative. I wish the media would run it every 2 minutes. We have to listen to BS about eating habits of Nicole Ritchie, and the Olsen twin, the drug habits of supermodels, and the sex antics of Paris Hilton I don't think it is a stretch to listen that there are two Black coaches going to the Super Bowl.

Not a big deal. The best teams are in the Superbowl.

It does show how far society has come from a time when only white coaches were considered for anything.

Here's another question about stuff the media says...

When the news says, "Gas prices will be going up in the next 3-6 weeks....".... and then gas prices do go up... are the prices going up because they need to go up (changes in politics or climate or other factors...) or are they going up because of people's reactions to what the news said?

It is only a big deal to those who think it is.

My own personal opinion is that the Superbowl is not a big deal. The main purpose of the Superbowl is that it helps teach Roman numerals to bozos who otherwise would be clueless.

Other than it's the first time in NFL history this has happened, I don't see the big deal.

They aren't saying it to me--first I've heard of it. I didn't really watch the playoff games, but I flipped in and out while watching other stuff.

Yeah, the media overplays every insignificant thing while the bigger things go unnoticed.
