who hire illegal aliens?

We all know he can't directly articulate whatever is going on in that head of his. Isn't the fuss he makes about immigration just an indirect way of protecting corporations?

First thing you have to know:
1. The law concerning the knowingly hiring of illegal immigrants right now, is a $250.00 fine per employee.
2. Illegal immigrants can buy a fake SS card and drivers license for $400.00.
3. There is no government office an employer can check with to see if someone is using a fake SS number(as long as that number is a real SS number).
4. Employers can verify if a SS number is real, but they cannot get the name that it was issued to.
5. What usually happens is the SS administration contacts the employer because they have a SS number that is having the SS contribution coming from multiple employers at the same time, but this takes several months before this happens.
6. The two factories that were raided last month for having illegal immigrants working for them, did check to the best of their ability the legal working status of their employees.
But, when an illegal immigrant has someone elses SS number and a drivers license in their name, how is an employer supposed to know they are illegal ?
Now I agree that employers who knowingly hire illegals, mainly restaurants and construction firms should be slammed, but most larger business's check as much as they can.
America needs a national id card, or they should make the SS cards a picture ID.

Not that I have ever heard!
If he had time to get his head focused, he would dedicate a speech to the problem and begin a full scale crackdown! He is the enforcement arm and the Laws are there!
Uh, Congress, is the Funding?-The fines should cover the costs and if you need more agents, some people are looking for jobs, and since the illegals and their partners in crime, the employers. costed them their old jobs-I would say they might have enthusiasm!
Jeepers-Give me a break! Most are working in construction with small sub-contractors who do not even report the wages!
We need to allow Local enforcement to fine these guys as they pick them up at the Day Labor Assembly points!

No, but he has said we need to find a way to make these illegals in our country a part of our work force legally. That way they can legally lower our standard of living while also lowering our wages, legally. He is an insult to America.

Bush has not said anything about anything when it comes to illegals. That is the problem. He goes against the majority of the country even when we elected him.
