I know you asked for guys to answer, but I thought I'd chime in. I don't think going down on a woman is gross. I like it. Shaved or not is no big deal. Trimmed is ideal. The smell is nice. It's good if women shower first, but that's just because we all get sweaty over the course of the day.
Also, most people in a sexual relationship take pleasure in the pleasure that they're able to give their partner. So, I wouldn't worry too much about the specifics, just enjoy what they're doing and they'll probably be happy.

NO, not gross.
I don't think its gross if she's unshaven. I prefer for it to be shaven except for a patch above, most of the time. If I haven't been with my wife for a bit and when I undress her she's either more or less hairy then normal, it can be fun.
As for smells ... as long as she's bathing fairly regularly, I'm happy. I don't mind a woman's genitals smelling a little bit like a woman's genitals. I'm not so keen on 'hasn't been washed in 3 weeks' genitals. Actually, I've never experienced that, its always been fine - to me. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there - male and female - who can't take any hint of smelling like a human being.

Hi Peyton: It is what two people feel comfortable doing between themselves. If a person is not comfortable then they should stop and refrain from doing what they feel is wrong. As far as the shaving or hair no preference, some people save for the hygiene others for the look. Body builders shave for the look.

Oral is not gross. Shaving is a personal thing. I don't care too much either way. However if you want me to go down there with my mouth, it would be nice if you trimmed the runway for the approach.

As long as you are clean - freshly showered/bathed - and not suffering from any vaginal infection/discharge, no it is not gross.
Your choice whether to shave or not. It's something you have to keep up with if you do; sort of a chore.
Some women enjoy it; others do not.

No, it doesn't gross me out. I have never been with a woman who shaved there and hope I never will be - that is really too freaky. I've never understood the "dental floss" comments; I don't have that problem. I've never had a hair get in my teeth, ever. I would have a problem with a woman who looked like she hadn't been through puberty yet; that would be a major turnoff. Of course both partners should shower or wash beforehand - that's only common sense and respect.
