friend has become total flake.. he makes plans and doesn't follow through..but for some reason he keeps making plans with me and not following through and calling me or pulling a total no show.. and when I ask him about it he gives me lame excuses.. should I drop the loser.. or just see him when i see him?

you friend is probably taking advantage of you. He might plan to get benefit from you. You should break up the friendship with him.

yo i used to do that. i just got caught up in different situations and couldn't make it where i said i would. i would make u lame excuses cause i really felt bad. just be honest with him and tell him its OK if he doesn't have time to hang out and when he will show up to call u. u cant let your life revolve around n e one but yourself.

I would be civil to this person but do not make ANY more plans with him and do not let him make any plans with you. Tell him clearly that the last few times he has not been reliable and that's not fair.
