You're only gay if you are sexually attracted to other men and not to women. So it's not gay. Dumb, yes. Immature and stupid, yes. Gay, no.

You would know if you are gay and shaving your chest doesn't make you gay.Having sex with other men means you are gay. Shaving your chest means you like the way you look hairless. It's your chest and you can do whatever the hell you want with it.My boyfriend shaves his chest because it defines muscle and makes it cosmetically more pleasing to me(a girl) and HE likes the way it looks also. Enjoy your body and who cares what other people think. Good times.

Why did you shave your chest? That is the real question and you must know why. You want a better tan? Some men shave their legs and tan in private as their hair is so thick their legs refuse to tan and they feel it would look weird with white legs and brown top! If your in the North this winter, maybe you want to take some tanning sessions at the local tanning place? Some men just have too much hair and it bugs them... can cause itching in hot weather no matter how clean we are. But hair does help evaporate sweat some. Earl

If you are not gay, then you're not. My girlfriend got me to shave my chest before going to Vegas, but was kind of dreading going out to the pool. However, once we did, I realized that had if I not shaved then I would have been the only guy there with chest hair.

No! You are just looking for a self image. If you like seeing yourself with less hair, then give it a try.
I prefer to be hairless, so I shave. Luckily I don't have much hair in my chest. There are certain areas where shaving might look "less masculine" like shaving your legs. For certain areas, try a trimmer and leave some hair. For example allot of guys in body building shave their armpits, I prefer just to trim them, this looks better to me.
We are all in search for a self image, so don't be afraid to experiment the only problem that you can face is criticism or people that might make fun of you. The people that really loves you and true friends are the ones that will accept you by who you are regardless of how you look.
Peace!

on this forum every other person is asking questions about gay/straight behaviors. i didn't know there was a textbook/manual/guidebook, etc. that defines what's gay and what's straight.
i believe it's prejudicial to pass judgment on anyone for what he/she does in the privavy of his/her own home. if the behavior doesn't hurt someone or if it's performed with mutual consent, then it's no one else's business.
if ou want to shave your chest (or any other part of your body), ask yourself for permission. you don't need to look to other people to help yo to resolve a inquiry. do whatever floats your boat and stop worrying about what other people think or what their opinion may be. be yourself!

The removal of chest hair, hair from arm pits or pubic regions does not make one gay. If this were true would there not be larger population of gay men?

I doubt you would be asking for total strangers to determine your sexual preference if you had any sense. Gay? Probably not. You just have far too much time (and now hair) on your hands! Get a job.

Not gay. 'But not terribly butch either. Unless you're a body buider in competition or a swimmer, shaving your chest is pretty dumb.
