-I was watching with a female friend and she insisted I fast-forward through the hotel-room 'wrestling' scene. How did other girls react to that scene? Grossed out? Hilarious? Both? Did they cover their eyes? Just curious...

I LOVED that movie. The scene in the hotel room is so utterly unexpected and pushes the boundaries of gross vs funny so far, that I ended up in hysteric fits of laughter in the theatre - luckily it was only me and my husband in the theatre so... I could literally scream with laughter - It was GREAT!

I thought it was hilarious. I did squirm of course but it was just unimaginable that it was hilarious. I guess I was wondering how the hell could Sasha Baron Cohen even act that scene! lol
I did look around to see how everyone reacted and I did notice it was mainly the guys looking down or away and falling of their seats through laughter.
My husband couldn't look through all the scene but I have never heard him laugh so much through any film ever.
All the women I have spoken to all loved it and thought that scene was hilarious. Crude but hilarious.

I saw the movie. I am a girl. I thought the wrestling scene was funny especially when they ran into the elevator.

I didn't see it with a woman, so I wouldn't know how they reacted. I was kinda grossed out - and I started to wonder, is Sacha Baron Cohen gay? If he's not, he's awfully comfortable with wrestling a naked man!

Let me give you a male perspective here. I did not like Borat. I thought the film was obscene, offensive, disturbing, and made Southpark look like Sesame Street. I cannot imagine that the film was allowed onto the big screen. I suppose that if you have enough money then you can put anything in theaters.

I went with my Sister-In Law and she watched between her fingers......and who wouldn't. It was like a train wreck, you know you shouldn't look but you just can't take your eyes away.
