Oh, I'm not planning on running away from home! I was just thinking of all the times I tried when I was younger and thought it would be an interesting question. No worries! :)

yep. i packed my bag had left at 12 walked for 6 hours until i got to my friends house, she wasnt home so i waited an hour or two n rang home if someone could pick me up, i had no money to get a train, i got told off when i said i just left when i was asked how i got there n what i was doing, my sister found out i walked n she went nuts.... but apparently they were going to the beach.. a st away from my friends house, so what was the problem???
Anyway, these days i dont know what is safer, to run away, or to stay at home, some ppl dont come from good homes.. and to think of what could happen on the streets... i kow it was capable when i was 13 but now i wouldnt be as sure of myself..

I recall trying to run away from home twice when i was around 6. The first time i made it to the stop sign (about 20 feet from the door), and decided i better go get a can opener for my canned food, and gave up when i got inside. the second time i was running away because i was in trouble. i went down the street and hid in my friend brent's tree house. His mom convinced me to come out with a cupcake, and then convinced me to go home...

I did run away from home once for like 2 days, but it was the weekend and my father didn't even notice till late Sunday evening(he is an alcoholic)so needless to say I didn't prove whatever point I was trying to at the time, nor did I get punished cause he just assumed I had asked permission!!

Don't do it..it's a cold hard world and if you are a girl it's even worse being homeless.

If someone there is hurting you then call the police or CYS...if not then stay.

They yell at you because they love you..yeah..yeah I know it doesn't seem like that but it's true.

I ran away..ended up on the streets selling drugs and it's even worse for a girl....they end up selling their soles to survive and most end up dead so it's basically death or stay at home where you are warm and safe.

Oh yea and it is not worth it you will end back home with your parents. You cant handle it on your own now that i am 18 and have grown up i would take it all back.If you are having troubles at home dont try to take care of it on your own ask for help from that people know what you they are doing like a coulser

Not really. Thought about but never actually did. Or, if it counts that I took a job on the other side of the atlantic ocean to get away from home, than I actually did.

never ran away from home, but ran away from school all the time. Got tired of being laughed at and fighting every day. Wish I would have known then what I know now, I would have done things soooo differently!

Yes. I literally ran from my mom outside the house, out towards the countryside, and ran out like the wind, until later I was picked up by firemen and cops in another city. True story.

I did'nt try I ran away. Me and my best friend decided to runaway when our mother's found out that we skipped school and we just knew that we were going to get it. So we ran away. We hitched rides and ended up about 52 mi away from home. When it got dark she got scared and called her dad to come and get us. It was an adventure you can believe that.
