I was wondering how old you would have to be to legally smoke weed in amsterdam? Like the drinking age is 21 in the U.S......

officially you need to be 18 to get into one of them shops to buy it, but you can smoke it outside, nobody will stop you or anything, drinking is 16 over here and regular sigs also 16, not sure if they will card you if you gonna go see the hookers, go and try it hahahahaha

i recommend by the way that you use it in the coffee shops and don't start smoking outdoors or in other public areas. In some parts of Amsterdam this has become not legal any more and i guess you can understand it can be very annoying to others...

You have to be 18 to enter a coffee shop and buy it. Considering it's not legal but allowed, you can smoke it when you're younger but some one else has to buy it for you then.
