About how much an hour do they make workin in a doc office or at hospital?

I think they get paid pretty good but I don't know anybody that does this. I found some information on medical transcription that may help you more.

11-17 dollars a hour i was a certified coder for 10 years and thats the norm. bigger city bigger pay. personal hint though its boring as hell! but you do get really fast cause the codes stick in your head.
