My fiancee and I are very much in love. The problem is we were platonic friends before we became a couple so we tend not to be affectionate at all. People often mistake us for friends or brother and sister. (No Public Displays of Affection in public) Well when we're around our friends and their partners I feel he gets a little upset because he wants it. Do you think our relationships abnormal? Should I try it to make him happy? Thanks for the advice in advance.

You do whatever makes you happy. Why do opinions of others affect you ?

Let it go and just love him freely. Let the guard down. If you are engaged...and getting ready to spend the rest of your lives together rejoice in it, be happy. You'll make both of you happy if you give him the attention he deserves and yes, even in public. There are way though, without making out in front of everyone to make your man feel special. Say, there is a conversation going on and you two are watching the events go on and there is a part that you to can identify together - give him the look like, "This is pretty funny." You two will be in your own world looking at each other. These are precious moments and the ones that keep our men happy. My hubby and I think alot alike and we'll just crack each other up even when others are around. It's like a private joke. I love that the best! Let your inhibitions go and be merry together - it's a beautiful thing!

Yes, odd. Why'd you become a couple if you aren't affectionate. You'd think you went from friends to being a couple cause you felt affectionate toward each other. Pretty strange.

Be true to yourself first...do you really want to make his life complete? Does he really excite you so much you want to have his babies and assure him satisfaction in bed forever? I hope its not a marriage of convenience and companionship/co-dependency. If you feel you are in love with him and vice versa it should come naturally. If you have to ask the question and you simply want companionship then make him happy and show him affection in public...it will make life easier.

Yes this is odd and i feel that if you cannot love him the way you want to then break it off now. If you love him then do what makes him happy and go for it.
