this is a sterotypical statement. i have many black, asian, indian and other friends. just as many if not more than my white ones. i never see race. never ever have i and i hate people who do.
there is the southern hate, but in most places, this racism has moved on. sure there are groups and places throughout the nation and world who hate blacks, but there are asians, latinos, indians, and more who hate other races like blacks... its not only whites.
sadly i have to say that in my area, the whites dont mind in the least but the blacks hate the whites. [not saying the all do]
it really depends on the place that you live, and how you act towards other races too.
in the south you are more likely to find racist whites who hate blacks, but on the coasts or north, you'll find much more hospitible and accepting people.

if you are talking about history... which i doubt... it comes from the slave trade. it wasnt just in the americas but all around the world. but either way... the hate you talk about comes from a superiority complex in some people. i don't know if its hate or just a disregard for equality. who knows. i rarely experience that type of racism. im sorry if i didn't help just told it from my perspective.

I do not think that all White people hate Black people. I think there has been a fear created around Blacks and a creation of negative connotations associated with the color black we have begun to live up to those stereotypes. I honestly think that there is more hatred among Blacks than others hating us. Just look at how we treat one another. If we do not respect each other how can we expect others to do so.

I am white, and I do not hate blacks at all, I happen to think we are all people, and a skin color is not a factor that makes me decide if I like or dislike a person. Racism, is simple a result of insecurity and ignorance, and it goes both ways...there are a lot of blacks that hate whites as well......

No way to answer this in general: I would say, it always depends on where and how we grew up...and education, of course.
We usually tend to try to fit into a group, and that's how it happens!!!
I remember when my son was about 3; at the time we lived in a village in upstate NY - no black people there. One day, my son saw a black man walking on the street, asking me: look, Mom, why is that man brown? I told him, 'cause he has brown skin. My son said, 'oh', and that was the end of it. 'Til this day, I never know what color or race my kids friends are until I acually meet them. It's just not an issue for us, period.
If you grow up hearing, this and that is bad, bla-bla, of course, that's what you think and learn.

The reason they hate us is because we are better than them, they are fat, soft and weak. They are not happy with what they are so they hate us to make themselves feel better. Thank you god for making us good people. No matter how they hate us
