I don't know about god(desse)s, but I like Hercules because of his Twelve Labors, and Perseus because of his defeat of Medusa the Gorgon.

My favorite goddess is Aphrodite "Pandemos" which means "among all the people. She is the daughter of Zeus and Dione. This version of Aphrodite is primarily concerned with bodily desire, purely random in attraction, and can be experienced by any and everyone. My reason? Because she's hell on wheels, at least according to Greek myth...

The other version, Aphrodite Urania, represents pure or spiritual love. She is born from Uranus the "sky" or "heaven." This love is more in tune with the intellect.

Birgit. She's awesome. I knew I wanted someone from the Celtic pantheon, and she just sort of came to me one day. She is a goddess in triplicate, goddess of protection, healing, and love. She has stayed strong with me through so much.

Zeus because he is the Almighty and Powerful of all the gods, and he is also the god of Sky and also thunder other than Thor. Plus, I wish I was almighty except I would lead into corruption with that much power.

Shiva (or Siva if you prefer) - Vedic God of Destruction and of Creation - basically of change. Dispassionately destroys the old and creates the new.

Just love the concept in its entirety.

i am not sure if she is a goddess, but she is related to gods, dido, queen of carthrage, her husband was killed by her brother, and she was destined to love Aeneas, but he rejected her, she didn't give up once or twice, then she committed suicide, i don't like the death, i just think she was brave not to give up on destined love

I always have a warm spot in my heart for Loki and Kokopelli - the tricksters. They remind me of my twin sister somehow. Pan too - they all seem akin somehow, even.

Peace!
