An American Idol question......what you guys think of the judges?

Question

the latest season kicked off a week ago....and the judges were mean and cruel then ever....even Paula surprised me..she insulted a 16 year old boy.....a guy's career might have gone thanks to Randy...and Simon, well i have nothing to say bout this judge....is the public with less talent doing the right thing auditioning......give your views on this

yeah maties...i know the judges are being honest..
but can't they just tell them in a more kinder way....nobody likes to be insulted.....

Simon is truthful but he could be nicer in the way he says it. He should not have talked about the way the young man looked the other night.

Randy is funny sometimes but he also tells the truth.

Paula Abdul is welllllll..... How about Celine Dion? She was a young struggling singer when her now husband discovered her. She would be great I think.

Did you know that these people have to go through an audition to get to the audition with the judges? So are we seeing these people for TV's sake OR were there worse singers out there? God forbid!!!

Well they were telling the truth. They have to judge the way
you look, the way you sound, the way you dress, the way
you so and so....
If the 16 year old boy stop juggling and concentrate on singing
and impress the Judges, then he would have won.
Same thing with the Bush baby Massive eye guy, if he
sang pretty, he would have gone to Hollywood....
And that Vocal teacher should be ashame of himself for
teaching other how to sing when he can't even sing.

That is the problem, you guys can't handle the TRUTH.
Truth hurts, too bad. Get over it.

I would personally get SO annoyed if I were a judge...person after person saying they are a great singer and ABSOLUTELY suck....but I feel if they are going to be mean it shouldnt involve looks or clothes only singing since that is why they are there....I mean they cant stand up there and call randy fat, paula a drunk or simon a self tanning guy that always wears black shirts haha. And second of all, have randy and simon ever had a singing career? I always wondered that...how can they judge singing

I think the judges make the show work. Otherwise it'd be a bad rendition of the Gong Show (yes, I'm showing my age). And as for the comment asking why Simon should judge since he's not a singer... he's never claimed to be a singer. He's the guy who makes millions while making people famous. He's been in the music business for years. He's very successful and he knows what works. That's why he's in the position to judge singers.

This is the 6th season! Those morons know by now what's gonna happen when they go in there sounding like a goat getting castrated.

It's pretty much set up that way. I don't feel sorry for anyone.

I love Simon! Randy makes me laugh & Paula is just a FREAKIN' WEIRDO.

SIMON- Simon will straight up tell u the truth. He keeps it real

PAULA- Paula is nice 2 anybody who walks thru the door

RANDY- Randy can b kind of iffy one day he might b keepin it real and somedays he is just lyk PAULA

The early auditions are better than the live shows. Simon is a pantomime dame and the other 2 are little better.

That would be a great improvement! The only problem is, I think if they got rid of Paula, viewers would stop watching and money would be lost. She is a classic cast member.. As annoying as she is, she still does contributer. =/
