I love the snow, and the bitter cold seldom bothers me. Get your arctic gear on and battle the elements...it's an adventure waiting to happen.

Being forced to inactivity and lethargic hibernation, is not a pleasant experience for most people! A mild winter is good, pleasant, tho'! What one could do, when forced to stay indoors in severe cold weather, is develop a taste for and in music: practise singing, practise some instrumental music! For a change, play chess! Do knitting! Get a sewing machine, and do new stitches, will keep you physically active, too: and, don't forget some indoor physical fitness exercises, lest you put on weight! Do some cooking, too: will keep you warm!

I was born and raised in Minnesota, where the winters could be harsh and unforgiving. Now, I live in Indiana and as tough as some of those Minnesota winters could be, I miss them now. Indiana winters rarely get as cold as 10 - 15 below and we almost never get snow more than a few inches at a time.
I always enjoyed the winter activities like skiing, sledding, snowmobiling, ice fishing etc... Just enjoying the natural beauty of a fresh snow.
Like anything, I guess, you miss it when it's gone.

i love the season change, and i kinda feel ripped off in the east right now there was no meaasurable snow fall, christmas felt like a holidqy in bermuda, and yes it annoys me everytime when the wheather people say oh its a beautiful 80 in the middle of december, they are such bummers. i love to watch it snow, take walks and be frosty, bake and cook and just enjoy the season.

Hate it, hate it, hate it. It reminds me of the many times I had to shovel the driveway, only to have it covered up by a snow plow.

Now I live in Philippines and have only seen snow on top of mountains in Taiwan.
